I'm not sure which is more important, imagination or knowledge, but I do think too little or too much of either is meaningless if you do not enjoy the use of them.

Personally I believe that a great deal of knowledge without imagination is useless and boring. Example when studying the properties of a parabola in college I designed a solar water heating system. What use is knowing the properties of a parabola if you only use them to do math problems?

I go with Mr.Happy. The knowledge will give you the power for imagination. Imagingation leads to creativity. So, if you have knowledge about something, you can imagine for improvising the same.

Knowledge is a set of tools--the more complete your knowledge, the more tools you have available. Imagination helps in finding many different ways to use them, so that unique solutions may be created and applied.

This is just a shot in the dark but ... I am thinking one needs knowledge to have any sort of imagination. I think our imagination builds on the knowledge we already have. Yet, one's knowledge (depending on the kind of knowledge one has acquired) can also be detrimental to one's imagination.

Just a quick thought on that ...

I would say emotion is more important. Knowledge is just facts. You should act on feeling and intuition more than reason. I don't know where imagination falls.

both are important but with a good imagination you you can solve problems at all angels because you think of all possibilites

,with imagination we are unlimited. we can eventually create everything we possibly can imagine.

This is a good Quotation, however dear my perspective on this quotation is Knowledge is derived by studying, asking and observing while creativity is the tool from which we derive knowledge
