    can we be lovers if the lady is ever saying we should be friends?

    I honestly think there is only one person who can answer your question.  Think about this carefully and consider the right time to ask her.  Also try to think about things like - if it seems as if she needs time to think things over or is it that she values things as they are and does not want to change that. I hope all works out well for you.

    when the woman says she loves you and only wants you to be friend thats because he loves you as a friend and nothing more than that.

    It doesn't mean that you can't be lovers who knows you'll be together but as of now friendship is all she can offer to you.

    don't be sad or upset at least its not a lost you still have her as friend.
