What Does It Means When A Guy Winks At A Girl?

You are with friends and a guy winks at you without saying a word. What does it mean when a guy winks one eye at a lady?

Not a lot, it's just a friendly greeting.  However; before I retired, a lot of eastern Europeans worked at the same place as me.  I winked at one of the girls, who became quite irate, I found  out from one of her male compatriots that where they come from, I can't remember where, winking at a girl was the same as asking her how much she charges.

It could mean many things. A sign of love; a sign that he likes you; it could be a friendly gesture. It could be irritating or clumsy. It depends on how you want to interpret it.

Simply a single wink is usually considered as a friendly approach showing an intimacy. What we do to our friends. Sometimes else we do it while teasing somebody, along with our friends, to pass some secret message or something like that.
But when comes winking at a lady, it is usually a message of sexual interest, it may be an action of flirting or an explicit invitation.

Means that the Guy wants to 'Hit On' that Gal... It's a cheesy gesture though...

It means he noticed that toilet paper tail you grew last time you were in the ladies room - or that he noticed your bra strap or slip showing... at least that's what it seems to mean when they wink at me. wink

I am not sure as i don't do that. But i am learning by reading other answers posted here. I think though what "The Invincible" said is true. Quite cheesy. I you like a girl then tell her.

It is a subtle indicator. It could mean that he agrees with you. You’re silly. Or that he has a deeper affection for you. It usually means he thinks your pretty and felt a moment of deep fondness and is trying to let you know there is something there.

I never wink unless it is to a child that I am letting know something like “I understand” or “It’s ok” when their parents yell at them or they look embarrassed. OR to a cute or attractive woman I am saying something subtle about, like, “you’re gorgeous” or “I could totally adore you”.

There are several things it could be. I’d have to see it done to guess which it was.

    ngureco,

For me it means 30 years of marriage. My husband winked at me and it got me to flirt with him and the rest is history.

He could be trying to get her attention.

It could be a sign of approval.

He might just have something in his eye.

His contact lenses could be bothering him.

Love, infatuation or crush very simple just flirting around. Relationships develops with time if that one blink of a eye can help you go ahead than you should go ahead and build trust and see what happens

Generally, I would say it means one of two things....They share a secret of some sort or he is interested romantically in her.  Of course, he might also just have a nervous eye reflex....
