why does my husband get irritated when I watch television plays or cooking programmes and change th
I watch all my favourite TV programmes only when my husband is not at home. He thinks i am only wasting my time by watching TV serials.(star plus, zee, ary etc., ) Are all husbands the same.....or just mine.
I'm not married, but being a man, i can tell you how most men think. Once a man is married, he immediately assume the position as the head of the family. I'm assuming that you've been married for some time now, right?
Well, if so, then it's exactly it. The man is frustrated that life hasn't turned out exactly how he imagined it to be. Now before you start thinking too much about it, please read all of it. For what he imagined there are two reasons for which it is his fault:
1. He didn't share the image. You can't expect somebody to just read your mind so easily when it comes to dreams and life expectancies
2. The life he wanted demanded certain attitude changes, things that aren't so convenient for him. Sacrifice after an age is very hard to achieve.
Other reasons vary from being stressed and frustrated with his life that he takes it out on the one person who he thinks can take it, to simply being angry at you for a reason or another.
I hope you didn't feel offended by any of this. I'm just talking from the experience of others that i have learned to observe. That and the fact that the men in my family are rather grumpy and like that.
My husband hated tv. He wouldn't watch any chick flicks with me.
TV made him sick. He did stay on the computer for hours...
that was ok for him. I am sure your husband has his favorite shows too. What is fair for one is fair for all.
well, he should respect what you want to watch, he may not want the kind of shows you watch, but he must show respect for you. Most men dont watch the kind of shows women watch. They are into sports etc.

How much television do you watch?Try and have at least one day away from the TV, ideally longer. It is the greatest scientific indoctrination tool ever invented. Free your mind and turn it off. You have a mind of your own, please start to use it for yourself; “Believe nothing, no matter where you...

How relevant are the Emmy Awards? It struck me, as I looked through the list of winners, I had only ever seen "Mom", "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and an old episode or two of "Mad Men". Of the others, I've never seen any of their episodes-- or even heard of some of...
