   Everyone varies. It is not as if there is a universal code for beauty for all men. Sometimes it just takes time for someone to even realize they like bigger thighs or thinner thighs on a woman.

   I think the word skinny like beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
   Having curves hasn't hurt Jennifer Lopez or Kim Kardashian fan base. No one would consider either of these women to be skinny.
   Nevertheless I believe both men and women if given a choice between having a mate with love handles, a beer belly, or a flat stomach most people would prefer a mate with a flat stomach.
   Being in shape or well proportioned isn't the same thing as skinny.

   Men are hardwired to like the 0.7 hip to waist to breast ratio - whether in super skinny Twiggy of the 1970s to bigger women.
   The fashion industry today pushes the super thin women because many fashion designers are homosexual men and their beauty standard is a prepubescent boy. That's how you get skinny transgenders (men transitioning to women) becoming all the rage since 2010.
   So while most men don't want fat women, it is the homosexual men running the fashion industry that put starving women up on the platform as the standard of beauty.

   To a degree, it depends upon the male's culture. For example, Black men generally prefer curvy women---even big beautiful women. Some can't even abide a skinny woman. Hispanics are also more tolerant of fat than white men, who for the most part, prefer slender women. That being said, I do believe that most men secretly want to experience a woman with a bodacious "butt." Personally, I think that if a woman is relatively toned, she can rock any size, so I wouldn't worry much about what most men like. If you know how to work your assets, you'll get a second glance.

   It all depends upon many factors -the educational, familial, sociocultural, &/or socioeconomic background of the man in question.   Men from the upper socioeconomic class who are oftentimes more educated prefer thin, physical fit women.  They want women to reflect their status.  A thin, physical fit woman is considered to be the epitome of class & discipline as they have unlimited access to the highest quality of nutritious food, health care,& beauty regimens to assist them in being thin.  They also believe that thin women are more healthier hence more beautiful than the heavier women whom they perceive to be lazy, sloppy, & unattractive.
   
   Men from the lower socioeconomic classes who are less educated prefer women who are overweight as both aren't strict adherents to a proper diet & physical fitness.  There are men from some sociocultural backgrounds who prefer heavier women because such women are viewed as healthier & more sensual than thin women.  Men from some sociocultural backgrounds believe that heavier women make better cooks & are attracted to them because of this.  They feel that thin women really don't know their way in the kitchen & may see them as undernourished.
   
   Among the middle class, the preference for women vary.  The more educated upper & solidly middle classes know the importance of a nutritious diet & exercise. So it goes to reason that such men want a physical fit, thin woman.  The lower middle class know less about nutrition & the importance of exercise so such men tend to be attracted to a heavier, even overweight woman.
