   I believe it goes deeper than the visual....I believe 2 people can connect instantly on a deep level. There is a strong sense of 'knowing' the person despite having just met. As time goes on you realise that you have so many similar experiences, and somehow you picked up on that intuitively in the first meeting.

   Ummmm... yes.  Didn't use too believe in it, but then I met the love of my life and it was like an invisible brick hit me in the face.  I'd drop things if he entered the room...but it was cute, because he'd drop things too.

    Yes...you can't always explain it but it happens.
    
    One minute, you are going about your life, next minute it hits you, wham. You see him/her across a room, you skin tingles, your heart races, your tongue tied...and you know he/she is the one.

    I believe in attraction, lust and even a strong connection at first sight, but love takes time to grow.  How do you love someone you don't even know?
    I think the only love at first sight is the love a parent feel for their newborn child.

    As I've never experienced Love at first sight, I would say NO.  But if I ever did, I would certainly come back here, and tell you otherwise.

    No...because true love runs far deeper than a first sight impression.  I believe that we can experience an attraction at first sight that makes us want to know more...a curiosity if you will.  You might say that is the fork in the road because if you have already convinced yourself that you are in love on the basis of your curiosity, then as you get to know the person more completely you may find that you ignore a lot of warning signs which were not apparent in the initial sighting because you actually believe you are already too deeply in love to turn around.  Love comes with familiarity, comfort, companionship, and most importantly, a deep and trusting friendship which takes time to develop.     What is love? I saw this woman once. She was about 100 yards away. I suddenly broke into a cold sweat. My knees felt weak. I couldn't breathe although my mouth was wide open. My entire body was wracked with this tingling sensation as if I'd been struck by a lightning bolt. In the distance I heard the sound of trumpets but there were no bands playing. Her name was Carla.

    Maybe lust or infatuation, but love I don't know, that's a hard one.  Can you really love someone at first sight and in that instant lay your life down for them.  Or maybe give your last dollar without wanting or expecting anything?  If you can do 100% of that which you would do for someone you unconditionally love in an instant, I guess love at first sight does exist!
