    Which verse in the Holy Bible is your  most favorite?

    My favorite verse is in Mattew 6: 33 (NKJV) :  33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and Hisrighteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

    I must say one of my favourite is:

    For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. St. John 3:16.

    My favorite has to be John 11:35; "Jesus wept". It covers His love for us when facing the last enemy of death. I pray, that when that time comes and I face death...that those tears will be tears of joy that I have received Him into my heart. And, that the same be true for every human being...that none shall perish and all shall come to the knowledge of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit.

    Proverbs 3:5-6

    Trust in the Lord with all your heart
        and lean not on your own understanding;
    6 in all your ways submit to him,
        and he will make your paths straight

    I have many, for each circumstances and situations I go through in life.  The overall two verses that kind of summarizes everything is "In the beginning God.." (Genesis 1:1) and it connects "Be still and know that I am God (Psalms 46:10).

    Blessings,
    Kejanny

    In these days it is a verse not known by all for it comes from a book men could not agree on. Perhaps that is why I like it. We seek all life for wisdom. Yet the best we can achieve is man's wisdom.
    //Wisdom, 3:1 But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and there shall no torment touch them. //

    So while I know I am saved by grace I must strive for righteousness.

      There are books that go catholic and go protestant. This is a catholic book. So silly. It does not go Lutheran in a strict sense. It is a cool book. But it feeds into dogma. Be careful with it.
