HOPE: The Presence or Lack of Hope. Is it a Result of Nature or Nurture?
Are Refugee Camps a reflection or presence of Hope? Or a reflection of loss of Hope?
I think refugee camps are a reflection of survival and survival is meaningless without hope and since we all have a desire to survive then I would say that hope is nature that can be enhanced by nurture.
Nurture. By definition, hope is the felt experience that what the heart desires will come to pass or that things will get better. This experience is animated by circumstances and how we deal with circumstances has a lot to to with our context (nurture).
The refugee camps demonstrate that while the people's predicament is dire, a large gap still exists between what is and what can be. Hope is not lost because the potential for future gains is still very real.

Is there hope for a relationship where there is a lack of attraction on one person's part? How do you deal with not being attracted to someone although they're a great person and are good to you? Will the lack of attraction end up causing the relationship to fail?
