Will Jesus have His scars in heaven?

Can anyone prove scripturally that Jesus still has His scars in heaven?  I believe the reason He appeared to Thomas (even through locked doors), showing His wounds was to prove without a shadow of a doubt the same body He died in was indeed resurrected.

He ascended into heaven, as we will.  The Bible says we "will be changed" (i.e. rapture), or that we will be raised incorruptible (resurrection).  It says "no flesh and blood" enters the kingdom of heaven, and we will be "as the angels".

Jesus appeared in "another form" as well, when He had been raised from the dead (Mark 16:12).

You could say does Jesus have his scars still, because he had risen from the dead and is seated in the Third Heaven

Jhn 20:27  Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

This verse says he did have his wounds marks

Yes, I think that if Jesus had scars we would have sadness and rememberance of why those scars were inflicted on Him.  He will wipe every tear from our eyes.  He remembers our sin no more - so why should we be reminded of them?

According to St John the Devine the Jesus that he encountered in heaven had been transformed into a lamb with seven horns and eyes. To check for any scars you would, therefore, need to be a bit nifty with a set of shears.

John also reported seeing him in the guise of an avenging angel with a sword projecting from his mouth.  It was in this incarnation that he threatened to kill Jezebel's children 'with death'.

    Sounds like a nice chap.

And as we all were blessed with free will my only response to the preceeding question can only be. Who is jesus? He isnt the son of our creator. This name "jesus" does NOT appear in the text used by OUR heavenly fathers CHOSEN people,  the people of TRUE jewish DESCENT. Not those rich warmongers that call themselves jews but are not!!! The true name of OUR savior IS JESHUA as revealed in the following text:

Yeshua is the original Aramaic proper name for Jesus the Nazarene, who lived from about 6 B.C.E. to 27 C.E. (A.D.) The word "Jesus" is actually a mis-transliteration of a Greek mis-transliteration. The Emperor Constatine even mistook Jesus for Apollo, the son of the Greek god Zeus. In Hebrew Yeshua means Salvation while the name Jesus has no intrinsic meaning in English whatsoever.

    Yeshua Ben Yosef

Yes, Jesus will have the nail prints in His hands and scars from the thorns on his forehand and pierciing in His side when he returns according to Acts 1:11 that says, "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? THIS SAME Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the SAME WAY you have seen him go into heaven."

Yes I belive Jesus will bear his scars in heaven. And I also belive that it will be many millions of years before those scars heal. And even after healing. These scars can be refound and will always be a part of the saviours identity. He died for us. Those scars are as much an infliction as they are loved and sacred symbols of his undying and everlasting love for us.

You have seen me and others will not, and they will believe in me! This is what Jesus stated. You can see them(scars) if it pleases you, this is how you may want him to repersent himself to you~He will reveal himself this way.He comes to us the way we see him in our minds eye(our spirit too).I see him as simply as a beautiyful lighted GOD.A being of light that may come to us at times in human form~

same body, same scars. If the thought of a son of man in heaven seated on the right hand of God eludes you, then you still have a blessing coming. He is the only man that has a right to where He is at. But He shared that right with us.

His scars will remain as a symbol of God's love and sacrifice for us all.
