Why is it that some people believe in G-D and some don't?
Some think that reality is just anything they put in their head so they think super natural things can actually exist.
Some have too little understanding of basic science, others are emotionally unstable. In general, you will find that religious types are not as observant of what nature really is, where rationality ends and irrationality begins - some don't even care if they even know what causality is and why nature requires science and not religion to make any sense to us homosapiens or humans for short ...
The probality of any man-invented gods having ever created anything in this univers is so small, it's statistically irrelevant!
Some people think about things and ask serious questions and don't accept things as fact because someone in power tells them what's what.
Most are brainwashed into the superstition of God from an early age and family and community encourage the brainwashing.
Anyone who is a critical thinker and studies science will quickly realize how absurd the whole idea is.
Children are told that there is a god - they are also taught not to think for themselves (to have faith) - to know their place in life - and that stealing is a sin even though those doing the telling (politicians, priests etc) are stealing from them all the time.
Some of us grow up - others don't.
real religion gives us real study real teaching and real knowledge and can get through God only because he is real and forever and has real knowledge every other thing is for just like a bubble for a little time as decided by God.
So who got a real knowledge believes and teaching believes in God other people who is busy with ego bussy with material bussy with dream of wealth luxry will not belive in God because these thinks love will not allow him to belive they are brain wash will not understand at all unless God not likes and he by himself not takes interest.

As an athiest, why do you think that religious people believe in god?to me it is about fear. fear of dying and knowing it's over, fear of being responsible for your wrongs without having satan to blame for an influence. basically fear. why do you think they believe?

Why is it easier for people to believe in Santa than it is for them to believe in God?I am often concerned for the generation that is now coming before us, children seem to know less about God and more about the world.Where do you see this going? And why do you think this is an issue?

Why do people believe weird things?I know someone who genuinely believes in faeries. Some people believe Uri Geller really bends spoons with his mind. Some people believe Jesus and the Greek gods were aliens. Some people believe the Queen of England is an evil reptilian creature in disguise....

Because, whilst I have no problem with those that do believe in each of these things, I place...
