Chakras and Spiritua Alchemy

   Lower Instinctual Chakras 1 to 3
   
   1st Calcination Muladhara Chakra (survival) Root Chakra Located at sacral bone at base of spine
   2nd Dissillution Svadhisthana Chakra (sex) Sex Chakra Located about 4 inches above root chakra
   3rd Separation Manipura Chakra (will) Will Chakra Located 1.5 inches below solar plexus
   
   4th Conjunction Anahata Chakra (bridge between lower and upper chakras) Union of Upper and Lower Egypt Heart Chakra Located in spine in the upper heart area
   
   Higher Spiritual Chakras 5 to 7
   
   5th Fermentation Vishuddha Chakra (verbal expression and speaking truth) Throat Chakra Located in middle of throat
   6th Distillation Ajna Chakra (intuition) Unsure where located
   7th Coagulation Sahaswara Chakra (enlightenment) Located top of head soft spot
   
   I know from experience where exactly all of the chakras are located, except for the sixth chakra. There are slight differences from what I've learned, and what I've experienced.

      Its the easiest one to locate for me! just close your eyes and where are you?
      Bring your awareness to third eye (single "eye") right in between and just above your eyebrows.

                     Yes, but only in the last two months. I had a strange spiritual experience while doing a mudra. It seemed to connect a circuit, and then prana rushed through my body. It was a sparkly light bluish purple column going up my spine and into my throat, where it stopped.
                     
                     Now I can feel exactly where 1 through five are along my spine. Then just recently I started feeling sparking or snaps on the top of my head, where the seventh chakra is located. I can feel each one along my spine. Sometimes they sting, sometimes I get a burst of energy out of them. I have had a little bit of fluttering around where the sixth should be, but it is too vague to tell exactly where it is.

                        My my! My son had an experience like that and it was pretty much the last time he meditated. he knows there is something going on … inside … with energy …

                           Yes, I don't meditate either anymore. Or any spiritual practice except for prayer.

                              Meditation is very hard for the average westerner who has so much to do just to survive. I sit (to meditate) and within a minute I'm pretty much done because there is so much I must do NOW! Mastering the mind is hard, but the benefits are great. Jesus himself said, The laborers are few, but the harvest is abundant." A harvest is something you bring in to yourself. You reap what you sow. What is it we sow when meditating?
                              I guess it is love.

      The 6th chakra or the Third Eye is something I have been using for 17 years now.  If it is active and working it's very tangible physically.  I wrote a hub on it also if you are interested.  All the other chakras I can go into.  through meditation practices and vision.  It's experiential because this is part of my training and I also teach meditation and Third Eye use.  If you are having trouble in that area and want help let me know.  There are a lot of comments on the hub which are about peoples experiences that may interest you.

   I heard you can also hear flute like sounds and see certain images as well …
   never have.
   and actually don't expect to.
   My experience with God is by way of helpful thoughts and insights …
   Like He has helped me find many a lost key. Some might say it was own higher self … well ?
   was it?
   It (helpful thoughts and insights) seemed to come from a "higher power."

   I do not have a religion, lovetherain. I gather my info/ideas and beliefs from Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity.
   (I could explain further but I choose not to.)
   There is a science behind all religions. Its the science of religion I am interested in.
   
   Science provides Reality.
