   Just a thought that was running through my head
   I wish I could remember what I had said.
   
   When ya get old and you life is almost through,
   Ya think about all that you have done and been through
   
   The things  that I have experienced
   The things that I have done
   I don't know what I intended.
   I only know that it ended.
   
   
   It all looks different now than then.
   What have I done and where have I been.
   
   Where am I now and where will I be...
   when it is all over for me?
   
   Will I be proud or will I be sad
   I wish I had known what I had.
   
   What have I learned and what have I taught...
   It turned out to be nothing like I thought.
   
   
   If I could just do it again
   Where would I start and where does it end.
   If I could just do it again.
   
   But if that could be so
   the differnce that would make, I do not know.
   
     This is your life, be proud when you are through
     cause somebody's always watching you
   
   What have we learned and what have we taught
   It is never what we thought.

      Yes, great to be young again and feel the sap rising (and to act like a sap again with time to get over it!).  But I don't think the experience would be so pleasurable the next time around.  Too many people; too few resources...unless we could see man really conquering space and establishing colonies somewhere.  That would be worth living again for!   Bob

         Nope, we can't go back and change anything or that would undo everything. I wouldn't change  thing.
