If you’re a Football Fan there's going to be a game on for you to watch somewhere, regardless of your allegiances, but you don't stop rooting for your favorite team ever...You’re a fan and you bleed the colors

jeolmoz2, you are so right in the fact that when you have a favorite team - it is definitely know to others.  In Kansas (not being from here), I learned very quickly where the line is drawn in Wildcat (KSU) and Jayhawk (KU) country.  Gotta' love it!

I really love my college football but, I love to watch football period.  Living in the state of Alabama and growing up with the rivalries between Auburn and Alabama, I would have to say I think I prefer college more.  I love my Auburn Tigers.

lesliebyars, that is definitely one of the great college rivalries.  Thanks for responding.

I prefer NFL. NFL games are likely to be closer and more competitive. If you look at the top 20 in NCAA football this week there will probably be 8-10 blowouts. This week in the NFL 16 games there will probably be only 2-3 blow-outs.

buyabiz, that is an interesting observation between the NFL and NCAA.  Thanks for your comment.

Wow!! Tough question as I love both. Personally though, I think I like watching college football better. In the Pro's, the players are doing their job which they get paid mighty handseomely for. In college, most of these kids will never make the pro's so they are playing strictly with intensity and guts. Based on that, I'll give the nudge to college!!

NCAA football is a way-better TV product than the NFL.  For one thing, college broadcasts tend not to do that thing where they break for a commercial after a score, come back for a kickoff, and then go to another break.  And there's no two-minute warning.  And there's many more games you have access to.  A typical college-football Saturday gives you dozens of games on maybe half a dozen networks.  A typical NFL Sunday gives you three or four games on three networks.  And the scheduling is tiered better.  College games might start a half hour or hour after the one you're watching, so you know you can go to another game during halftime.  On Sunday, if you're lucky to have two games at the same time, they're probably also having intermission at the same time.
