Outrageous Google Questions About the LGBT

Are you ready to see the 100 most ridiculous Google questions about homosexuality and the LGBT community?

That's right, discover how the world really feels about gay and lesbian rights despite the legalization of gay marriage in the United States.

Below is a tiny fragment of what's to come, so take a good look and see what everybody is asking when it comes to homosexual relations.

  1. Are gay families stable
  2. Are gay guys allowed to donate blood
  3. Are gay normal
  4. Can gay be cured
  5. Should gay marriage be allowed
  6. Should gay couples be allowed to adopt
  7. Should gay families be allowed to adopt
  8. Should I kill my gay son
  9. Should we support gay rights
  10. Are gay rights legal

Yep, that's what people are searching for on Google. Despite our alleged progression with equal rights and legalization, there are many question marks that detract from it.

In fact there are 90 more queries that individuals have googled pertaining to LGBT rights.

Are you brave enough to handle the truth?

The LGBT Community

There were a bunch of questions regarding differences relating to the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community.

The questions aren't silly if you're completely unfamiliar with these terms, but I also believe there's still a ton of confusion for those who've heard about LGBT or gay rights.

Other questions asked try to typecast specific people, which is just foolish. The most unusual question is about self attraction, which I suppose could be categorized as narcissism, but that extends far beyond the gay community.

Homosexual Stereotypes

I've seen so many questions addressing the "gay voice", which some call effeminate. I realize that it's a common stereotype among homosexual men, but that doesn't justify asking those questions.

Many inquiries I've come across are blatant stereotypes, which means that people still can't shake off decades old assumptions about the gay populace.

We've already witnessed numerous portrayals of LGBT members who have fought against those stereotypes, but the lack of knowledge continues to live on.

AIDS and Homosexuality

Sadly there are still too many questions linking homosexuality with HIV/AIDS despite scientific evidence that disproves the "gay disease" coined in the 1980's.

People are also intrigued about gay couples and babies. Can they have them and can they reproduce. Have people forgotten about medical science and what we're capable of nowadays?

I think so because they wouldn't be asking those questions if they knew otherwise.

There are a few more offensive questions in this set concerning mental illness and defects that are probably more disgusting than dumb Google searches.

Gay Equal Rights

Oh I bet a lot of ultra conservatives and very religious groups have asked these questions about who should have equal rights.

Even if you're against gay people, you should still believe in human rights. If you believe in human rights, then yes everyone should be allowed to have equal rights.

And if everyone has equal rights, then why would you question whether or not some people are allowed to donate organs or be a homosexual christian.

It's a matter or human principle over personal preference.

Am I Gay?

This time the questions shift back from social to individual. The term "gay" is used loosely with physical appearances, outfits, mannerisms, body language, and speaking voice all being taken into consideration.

Stereotypes again shine in this group of Google questions and vanity is king. When everything you do is questioned, then it becomes a cry for help.

Oh and apparently there are certain cars homosexuals drive compared to heterosexuals.

I had no idea; oh yeah that's because it's an idiotic question (how fitting).

Why gay marriage is wrong

Gay Marriage is Wrong

Number 100 was more of a statement than a question, but it still speaks volumes about current ideologies regarding gay marriage.

The other components such as sin, immorality, evil, and behaving ungodly apply when it comes to disallowing homosexual relationships and marriage. The bottom line is that there's still a massive split regarding gay people on nearly every level.

The thing about Google is that it's a global search engine, so people's views on certain issues vary drastically by location. Not every question asked is stupid but that depends on a variety of factors including religion and education.

I'd be willing to give a pass to those who don't understand, but with so many disparaging human rights questions, I don't think the ignorance card can be played here.
