   If there were an offical mobile app for Hubpages, would you use it?
   
   For example, an app that allows for smart phones and tablets running Android and iOS software to allow you to write, edit, manage and follow hubs. There is currently an unoffical app in the Android market place, but it is just a glorified web browser. This question is about whether there is an app, but rather would you use it if there was a well designed one.

   I would. I do access hubpages from a tablet but have not tried to write or edit any hubs. I have just been using safari to send hubs to pocket to read later. I downloaded the app but it never opened so I just deleted it. But there really should be an app that lets you even just manage your hubs from the backend even if it doesn't let you create new ones.

   Maybe, but probably be better suited for a Tablet device, my phone would drive me crazy to type a great hub on.  Some hubs take time, and if you have the time to type on a small screen, then by all means go for it, if one is created, but with all the changes and options you can add to your hubs, I prefer a Netbook or a Computer.  Nothing is impossible, but its a good idea for one to be made, I'm sure we would all try it out.

      Oh, I agree tablet app is preferable, but there have been times when all I had was my smart phone and I had an idea that I just wanted to start writing on. I wouldn't use it as a primary means of writing, but it would be nice. I use my PC for now.

   I think there's an iOS app for hubpages - correct me if i'm wrong. Personally I run on an Android as well hence I've never really used it to speak of. I own an iPad which I can access hubpages as a normal website and stuff but I've always preferred writing (or typing in this case) on a physical keyboard. I didn't see the point of buying a keyboard for the iPad and so all my writing is still done on the PC/laptop.
   
   Sure a mobile app would be nice especially if it's feature packed and runs smoothly for short on-the-go sessions.  But there's just something therapeutic about hearing the tik-taks of keys on a keyboard so I think I'll still be returning to the old school style of writing on a computer.

      Yes, I agree. But I have the ASUS Transformer Prime so I get that tick tack feel of the keys with my tablet.

   I would most certainly use it. I spend a good deal of time out of my little "office" and away from my laptop. Sure, I can look at HubPages and read hubs and whatnot on my iPad, but a mobile app could lead to on the spot reporting and near real time recording and posting of video for hubs.
