Anyone else see their Hub score go up and down on a regular basis?

I keep going from an 83 to a 78, then back up again over 80.

Yes your hubscore will fluctuate for a number of reasons - see the Help section and Learning Center for more details. Mine goes up very slowly then comes back down too quickly. It's slightly annoying because of the unknowns involved but I think over time you'll average out at a reasonable score.

Hubscores going up and down happens to just about every hubber I should think so you're not alone! The best thing to do is to keep your content good and clean, socialise as much as you can, leave comments and ask questions then in heory your hubscore should keep high.

Do you know if, over time, the hub score for individual hubs stops fluctuating, at least to the extent that it does when it is new? Thanks! smile

Yes, Especially here lately. It will fluctuate up to 5 points from day to day. Their are many factors why it does this.

Yes, my hub score is steady changing between 76 and 84. There are so many factors decide the score so I think it is normal.

Ya, a few of my hubs were above 80 yesterday and have dropped to 75 overnight.
But I'm still very new here so I'm not that concerned about it really.

Also, your hubscore is a direct indicator of traffic to your hub...so obviously it'll fluctuate with traffic.

When your hubs are fresh and are being read here, your hubscore will rise. Once they become old, it all depends upon referrals and organic traffic.

So, Try promoting your hubs on other platforms too coz only that's going to give you true organic traffic...something that Google loves.
