Do you think people using Facebook go too far when they show body parts that were just operated on?

Some people show very graphic pictures on Facebook after they had surgery?
One showed a tumor. One showed a scar after heart surgery.
    I find it distasteful.

I have to agree with you on this one.  Not only is it distasteful but it really makes me wonder about the person who is showing these body parts.  Why on earth would anyone want to do that?  Not to mention, why would any of their friends want to see it?  It just baffles me.

Thank You! I knew I wasn't that crazy.
I had a friend show everyone what her brain looked like after a stroke,
I just thought I must be seeing things!

Not really. My uncle had surgery on his shoulder and my aunt posted pictures about it. If you're upset about it, just block the pictures or postings. It's kind of the same things as pregnancy photo's. I find them distasteful, but others enjoy looking at them.

Well why do you think it's necessary. I just think some things are left un. Published. Would you want to see my skull fused to my spine??

It's not necessary. It's optional. And some individuals really share a lot. If you do not like it, you can block their posts and just keep them as a friend.
