If I open another HP account, Can I transfer some of my hubs to it?

I want one hubpages dedicated to just my swimming pool articles, and transfer the other misc. hubs to another hubpages account. Possible?

I think you can, but you have to delete the Hub from the other account, wait a few days for Google tor realize it is gone, and then republish it under your new name.  I don't think HP has a way to automatically transfer hubs between accounts, because they don't want issues with duplicate content.

The auto transfer is not possible, you'll have to do it manually, and personally, I wouldn't recommend it. Specially if those articles are doing well. Here is why - URL to your hub would change. If you've got any social network shares - you lose those precious backlinks once the hub is shifted to a different account. People who would click on those shared links, will get error 404, which is not good again. That page will say, either the author chose to remove it, or it was deleted due to.. So nope, not good at all.
Moreover, any page-rank, quality content, traffic till now related data associated with your page by Google or other search engines would be lost. Everything will have to be rebuilt, and that would mean extra time to get to the same point you already were.
Instead - showcase using images with links, or side bars on these old hubs, that you now have a dedicated new account for specific topics. Hope that was helpful.

I actually had thought about that after I had posted the question. I think you're right. There are some Hubs I would like to transfer, but they get a lot of traffic
