    Is there a shortcut to finding data or photo  on a computer?

    Almost everyone knows  shortcut ctrl+c= copy  etc. Somehow  there must be shortcut to find files.E.g.I spend hours sorting photos, cropping & tagging them. I save the file on the XP Windows desktop, try to load to hub pages& either cannot find the file listed;or if  listed, the whole file wants to load.The list of modified photos never appear.This is true when I want to upload to Blogger or Window Live Gallery too. To save time,I load  alternative photos or  rewrite the data. I need to go directly to the exact location of the named file on the disk.Search&Copernic fail to do their  job.

    yes, you go to start and click on search then you click maybe it is a file, folder or  document after that you type the name of the file or folder or document.
