    A friend of mine visited Croatia last Fall and had a great time there, and loved it...

      Know nothing about Croatia. Looks good. Reminds me of Greece.Have no reason not to go.Apart from the language. I enjoy speaking Spanish and Italian with locals.

      The weather here is a lot like California.  Many tourists come after Easter or in September-October to avoid crowds, and the weather is still enjoyable.

    Croatia is a beautiful country and you would find many people speaking English. I live here from South Africa and is  one of the greater tourist attractions in the southern Europe. I know of many people who visit Croatia year after year.
