Angel Caleb Santos (montecristo)

I was born in the Bronx, New York City. My father was a hard-working man working two jobs to help support the family. Concerned over my involvement with gangs in New York, he moved us to Puerto Rico. I was, only, 13 years old with a limited knowledge of Spanish. Even though, Puerto Rico is a US commonwealth, the main language is Spanish. Having this in mind, I was in for a culture shock.

My mom gave me a crash course on Spanish and I adjusted. After 8 years in Puerto Rico, I joined the Navy. Winding up in Norfolk, Virginia was a blessing. I met my wife, had 3 boys and, eventually, 3 grandchildren. I have been living in Virginia for more than 30 years. Life has been good to me.

I am a Pastor with an online ministry but I like to write just about everything. Lately, I have been passionate about my recipe blog. I am a connoisseur of good foods while my wife is the cook. Feel free to browse through my links. Give me some feedback and have a nice day. God bless.
