My dwarf hamster just had babies yesterday. Today, she brought two of them out of the nest, made...
a nest somewhere else and left them there ... she stays in the first nest with about 4 babies, but there are two babies alone in the second nest. I am worried!
Do not disturb her any more than you can help. For the next few days do nothing. Have no loud noises around her cage or enclosure and don't let other people just stand there and stare or bother her. If you do this she will probably feed all the babies and eventually put them all back together. Don't touch the babies at this point. I would say she has done this because she was disturbed about something.
