Why does my bunny keep nipping at her baby bunnies?
Is it because she can't take care of it or is it because i got the wrong bedding (saw dust).
No, it's not the bedding, the doe is making sure her babies are okay not sick or injured. but, if she starts to hiss or snap at them, then you shouldn't have them together. The weening age is 4-6 weeks. But yeah if she is nipping and licking she's just being a mom! I know alot about Rabbits I have been studying rabbits ever since I was a young child. I am a rabbit breeder/fancier so I know what the does do to their young.
For any more questions or comments keep in touch with me and I'll reply soon. Thanks!
