"i just recently got a yorkie, she is now almost 4 mths april 1st, and when i went to pick her...
up from the breeder, the breeder had told me about a ringworm she had, that she took her to the vet, and had everything taking care of, well i have noticed that she has really dry but soft fur, but its kinda like dandruff, i tried washing her in oatmeal shampoo, which didnt really work so i used baby shampoo and it worked pretty good, but afterwards i had to use baby oil, which did kinda work better, but i'm still not so sure, and she seems so small for her age, should i be concerned?
I would take your baby to the vet. Unfortunately, not all breeders are ethical breeders. There may be issues you need to know about your little girl; or, she may be just fine.
There are a few organic, natural shampoos on the market for dogs that are particularly formulated for dry skin and coat. Check them out, they are quite reasonably priced.
Take your dog back to the Vets. Your Vet will tell you what you should or need to do. One of my dogs has allergies so the shampoo we use is called MalAcetic. Your Vet will be able to point you in the right direction.
