no no no..... wild life rehabbers get real sick of "rescuing " animals that didnt need it because the mothers wont take them back... never touch a wild baby bird, or any animal if you are not knowledgeable of what you are doing.
No, I don't recommend it. Most of the time, the mother will attack it if you try to put it back after too long. However, I have had some success with returning or giving a duckling under 3 days old to a mother with ducklings the same age. You have to be extremely careful and be prepared to re-rescue the duckling if the mother duck tries to kill it. I wouldn't try this unless you know exactly what you're doing and know duck behavior extremely well.
Is it OK to give children salt with their food?The only time I ever put salt on my food is when I feel like I have sweated too much in one day, losing a lot of salt in sweat etc, so to supplement this I would take salt....
