i think my cat got sting in the face, which caused her eye, nose, and cheek to swell. after 2...
days the swelling is all gone but her eye doesn't refect light, and is dark now. her blood vessels look swollen in her eye too. is she blind?
Two weeks and you didn't take her to the vet?
Shame on you.
You really should take her to the vet, have them look at her and make her well again--if it's not too late.
take it to the vet, they take the trouble to go to college and learn how to deal with this stuff.
If your cat got stung by a bee, wasp or yellow jacket, it will cause a painful swelling at the site of the sting.
In treating an insect bite, you will need to:
- Identify the insect
- Remove a stinger, if possible, with tweezers
- Make a paste of baking soda and apply it directly to the sting
- Ice packs relieve swelling and pain
- Calamine lotion relieves itching
If there are signs of generalized toxicity TAKE YOUR CAT TO THE VET!!
