What are the health benefits of onions?
Do the health benefits depend on the type of onion?
Onion slices are amazing for a bee or bug sting! I was trimming trees and got a nasty sting on my wrist! That sucker hurt! I remembered the onion slice trick from a friend who got stung by a wasp. I placed a raw (not fried or sauteed lol) slice on the sting and held it in place with a large bandaid for one hour...no more pain or swelling!!! Too cool!

Are onions good for you?My husband and I eat a lot of onions in our meals and I just wondered if there are any health benefits to them and if certain types of onions are better than others. We eat mostly white onions.
