I have a male husky and I would like to get a female to have babies but I hear that I can't make.
her have a litter every 6 months. Only once a year but it's hard to keep the male away from the female when she's in heat. What does it do if they breed every time? Thank you in advance! Julie
Put a diaper on the female while she's in heat. The male will still be going crazy. Its pretty much the only way besides seperating them the whole time.
A diaper won't prevent the male from trying to mate with her. It's actually ideal to only breed every other year. Even once a year is a little much on the female's body. You'll have to keep the male separated from the female.
