You should eat it. See my recipes for rabbit. Rabbits are naturally violent. They are the most dangerous animals for children by far.

Where we used to live, my neighbour's rabbit often came into our garden, one day it attacked me, now I never let an animal get away with attacking me.  I gave it a backhander and booted it up the arse, it would still come in the garden, but it never, ever, attacked me again.

Long story short: you should neuter your rabbit. He sounds like a territorial intact male.

If he is neutered, then keeping him in his cage and teaching him that the cage is his territory, but the garden is yours should help.

If you don't have him neutered, have him neutered. You will continue to have behavioral issues until you do so.

It is most likely A male Territory issue. You must need to teach him that his cage his his territory.
