Though animals have rights to be treated well,yet they are not as conscious as human beings are.In that sense, animals are not equal to human being.I think all animals should be treated and cared properly by humans since they also belong to this planet and are very important part of the earth eco-system.
Personally, I don't think animals and human beings are equal. Our traits and characteristics vary in so many ways and we're created having different nature. Animals should only be under our care.
Of course, my dog is welcome at any time, to go and get a job and contribute to the household funds.
He is welcome to assist in the chores, and in the decision making. All he needs to do is to speak up and tell me which vet he prefers, what brand of food he likes best.
