If your dog has runny nose what home remedies do you use?
Have you ever seen a dog with a runny nose? if your dog has had a runny nose, what effective home remedies did you use.
It is more than likely that your dog has allergies. The vet had us start our dog with Benadryl. It is just over the counter Benadryl that humans use. If that doesn't work, you need to take your dog in to be seen by a vet.
I wouldn't give Benedryl to my dog till you get the proper dosage from the vet. Every dog will be dosed by its weight.
I don't worry about a runny nose unless it's chronic or there are also other symptoms, such as raspy breathing, lethargy, fever, the discharge has color, etc. I never use a home remedy that I don't run by my vet first.
Agilitymach is right. I hadn't thought of the dog's body weight. Some dogs are really small.
Getting the right dosage from a Vet is important but do you think there are available home remedies for runny nose in you dog? Any ideas?
