What animal or insect are you terrified of? I am terrified of chimpanzees. After Travis the Chimp destroyed that woman's face, I've been shaking in my boots ever since!

Killer rabbits. No, but seriously my friend had a rabbit and asked me to hold it and it bit my finger. Took a chunk right out. It gave new meaning to that scene in Monty Python's Holy Grail where the killer rabbit attacks them. I am not afraid of rabbits, but I am definitely afraid to hold them, lol

      Hi, TheKats
I don't blame you on that. I'm cautious of holding ANYTHING with teeth, including babies. When my son was about nine months old, he crawled to me, pulled himself up, and bit me on the thigh! Thanks for answering.

Cute answers so far. smile  Mine, however, is serious.  I'm probably most afraid of brown recluse spiders.  They are very common in my area and can be hard to see.  It's easy to have one in your bed sheets and not know it.  They just creep me out!!

Eels. Enough said. I'm not as obsessed about them as I used to be. I can now look at pictures of them without jumping up on the couch, and I don't have to jump out of the shower if I think about them either. But I'd be real worried about having to swim in lake water now. If I thought of one while I was in there I'd have to rush to shore.

Ostriches aren't very pleasant either. But I deal with that by staying away from them. A lot of animals are scary. They all live life on the edge.

A Beaver killed a guy recently for taking pictures of it.

I read aout the man killed by the beaver. It bit him in the artery in his thigh and the man bled to death. What a strange way to go. Thanks for answering.

Yes, I was at a beach in Costa Rica and the waters were infested with eels. They won't bother you unless you step on them, but the idea of swimming with eels is terrifying to me. So I stayed out of the water.
