I have phobias involving spiders, clowns and things with lots of holes. Not all at the same time, hopefully. That would probably make my head explode.

Spiders and clowns are understandable. Are you bothered by Swiss cheese?

Swiss cheese doesn't bother me, lotus seed pods do. I'm more wigged out by holes with things in them, like sunflowers and their seeds. It's unofficially called Trypophobia. I have a Hub about it.

Im so afraid of chickens (well, i think animals with wings)..snakes too.. I remember back when my bestfriend tried to scare me, he's holding a chicken while running towards me. I got sick after that.

Any phobias? How much room do I have here?  I had an episode of surgical awareness once and it left me with a fear of surgery.  I was slipped something in a drink when I was a teenager which left me with panic attacks and a fear of any medication.  boring but true.

I also do not like spiders. I really can't stand them but I don't think it is a phobia for me.

I am TERRIFIED of centipedes. Absolutely terrified. I can't even look at photos of them without wanting to cry and shaking.

This will probably seem ridiculous, but I am terrified of butterflies. If one flies near me I completely freak out. They just creep me out for some reason...

Funny! I used to be terrified of butterflies as a child and have gotten over that one. Apparently my fear has been replaced with spiders although I am afraid of very large butterflies. Now they really are scary to me and I can't explain it.

I hate spiders of all sizes. Once I thought my boyfriend was chasing me with one that I'd asked him to remove from the house and I slammed his arm in a door to keep him and it away from me. Problem was, he didn't put the spider outside prior to that and was just trying to scare me. It worked and he never did anything like that again.

I will have to review the definition of phobia, but I think it is an irrational, exaggerated fear, and if that is the case, for me it would be snakes - though I try somewhat to counter-condition myself by looking at them from a safe distance when I have the opportunity.

I hate cockroaches. I can even sense and smell the bug within my range. Once I was in a hawker center and sensed a cockroach was on the ceiling. It was and not only one! I am scared of it, gives me creeps , jump onto the chair and scream when I see one.

Snakes terrify me - give me spiders, insects of any kind - no problem but snakes - NO - I even check under the bed at night!! Now I have to go to bed soon.....oh dear!

Snakes- I don't care if they're the size of a worm, keep them away from me.  One close-call with a HUGE snake years ago was enough.
Bodies of water- not their presence, but I -will not- go out in a boat, fly over water, etc. etc.   I had three close-calls with drowning in one summer when I was a kid, and that was enough.

I do not have the phobias but my wife seems to have a phobias whenever I touch her neck. She refuses to allow me to touch her neck. Every night when she sleeps, she will need her blanket to be beneath her neck otherwise she will not be able to sleep. Strange to me!
