Advice on how to find a teacup Persian or Munchkin kitten?

I've been in search of a teacup Persian or Munchkin breed kitten for the past several months, but no luck! We live in Minnesota and it's been very hard to find them here. Do you have any experience with these kittens or advice on how to find them or another small breed cat? thanks!

If you're willing to spend the money on these breeds, it is sometimes easier to buy out of state and have them shipped to you.  A lot of rescues or breeders, especially in the south, love to accompany their newly homed animals to their future pet parent in the north.  Shipping may be a bit more expensive, a couple to a few hundred extra, but if you want it bad enough, it's well worth it.  I myself have fostered a Great Pyrenees for a rescue here in Texas that was brought to Connecticut for her new home.  She's horribly spoiled and loves the snow now. smile
