Why my Pomeranian prefer outside, he use to stay inside, now he wants outside day and night.
Before you explore behavioral reasons, take your Pom to your vet for a comprehensive exam and perhaps a blood panel. He might have something physically wrong with him that is causing him to want to be outside where it is cooler than in your house.
If they have full fur and your weather is getting warmer then it might be too hot in the house. I trim my poms underbelly fur and trim them up. Then she isn't so warm. In the summer I get a full cut. It's not a good idea to let them be outside all night.
