My dog has been in heat about 8 to 10 days, just found out a dog might have mated with her 4 days ago
Can I getake medication to terminate the pups if she is pregnant or if I get or spayed will that terminate the pups
Some vets do not like to spay dogs when they are in heat because they are at increased risk from bleeding. You might need to call around but having her spayed is the best way to get rid of the puppies and prevent problems in the future.
If she is an animal that you want to breed in the future, there are alternative birth control methods. Spaying is your best move though.
