      Seems a hundred years ago now !  we called our dog Lady and the cat Tramp from this movie, 

      and Incredible journey was maybe the first really good all-animal movie.

    MARLEY AND ME.....doggone movie made me cry!!! loved it dearly.
    RIO.... was fantastic.
    HAPPY FEET... will be my all time favorite.

    I think Greyfriars Bobby was a good film.  I also like Black Beauty, and Charlotte's Web.  However, most animal fims seem to be sad.  I remember crying as a child when Charlotte died, even though I dislike spiders.

    Rock-A-Doodle & Tarzan (I realize Tarzan technically isn't an animal...but, he does act like one!)

    otherwise, I'd go with The Land Before Time.
