What are your top three favorite movies to watch AND your favorite movie snack?
I'm always looking for movies I may have missed. Would love to hear your recommendations--and why they are your favorite! Also, do you have a favorite movie snack?
My three favourite fils:
Dune, Blade Runner, Ghostbusters 1.
No favourite snack, I never eat the junk food that is served up in cinemas, and I go there to watch the films, not stuff my face, snacking.
Top three: that's tough to narrow down so i will choose movies I never get tired of seeing. Red with Bruce Willis--fun, funny, exciting. Independence Day with Bill Pullman and Will Smith--exciting, funny moments with the added bonus of sci-fi., and an oldie, Pillow Talk with Doris Day and Rock Hudson. Made about 1963 it is like stepping back in time to see the clothing and the furnishing. Fun story too, good old fashioned comedy.
Snacks? I don't usually eat while watching movies, but popcorn is a good addition, or peanut M and M's - okay thanks, NOW I'm hungry! :-)
Red was on my list awhile ago and then I forgot about it--now its back on again! My husband and I love to make homemade popcorn over the stove- much healthier than store-bought AND it tastes better- especially good using grapeseed oil & sea salt
Have you tried just plain popcorn in a brown lunch bag in the microwave. 1/3 c popcorn, close tightly in a lunch bag and set the microwave for about a minute but then listen closely when the popping slows down stop the microwave -it burns easily.
We love Red! Thanks for the reminder. I haven't seen it in forever. - Ginger
We aren't movie goers, never been ; though I like your great assortment of questions ; a favorable occasion for me , next time. Thanks
Top three? umm.
3. The Invisible
2. Dawn Of the dead
1. Pulp Fiction
Favorite snack? Well almost anything (:
My top three favorite movies are:
Moonstruck (1987) because I like the music and the romance
The Prestige (2006) because I like the suspense and the elements of its being a period drama
Stardust (2007) because it is great escapist fun
I try really hard not to snack, but my favorite would probably have to be Hershey's chocolate bars, particularly dark chocolate and the almond and toffee chips Symphony bars...shame on me!
