While I am not by any means a liscenced clinician, I can say from my studies of symbology, archetypes, psychology, and art that circles and spirals are ubiquitous archetypes of the cosmos. The circle in itself represents wholeness and completeness, a unity. It is to be found representative of and manifested in everything from the structure of atoms to planets and their orbits, stars, and galaxies. The spiral is also present in such ways from the spiral structure of DNA to the spiral form of the Milky Way. In archetypal symbology, the spiral is associated with eternity, the universe unfolding, the path of spiritual enlightenment, and God. The application of color indicates to me a sense of the cosmic order. I think you have a very special child with a deeply intuitive sense of the spiritual and who is very in tune with the cosmic mystery we call life, the universe and everything. I don't know anything about your child other than the description of the art s/he has produced so take this with a grain of salt. From the limited information you gave me, I have made my best rational/intuitive attempt to give you an honest opinion/interpretation. I hope it is of some help to you.
