Do you think a painting can show more detail or a photograph could show more detail
if you know anything about the impresionist and the Post impersionist,
let me give you a little description:
The Imperionist were more into the now in the moment details of paintings and photography was a big help in this time, but the Post impersionist came along and we're more into the depth of emotions, ( I don't know much about who were the impersionist and post imperionist but i do know that Vincent Vangough was apart of this time)
which leads me to my question can a photo show my emotion if its just a picture or can i put my emotion through my brush strocks in my painting.
Depends on your talents. You might be equally effective at both. Check out the works of Margaret Bourke-White. She is a historically important photographer.
As far as the question about detail, painting relies heavily on the mind to fill in the gaps. Photography records everything even if you don't see it.
