I would say without doubt that my favorite photographic subject would be birds and to be more specific birds in flight !
That is closely followed by 'sunsets'.
that is a very nice sunset in your photo :-)

Thanks for the compliment, I am not sure when or where I got that one. I am in a bit of a hurry this morning and sorry it took me a few minutes to comment. Birds in flight are something else, aren't they? We saw a hawk or some kind of bird perched.

Trees and flowers are my favorite.  Different shots of the same subject during the day, showing the various effects of light and shadows intrigue me.

Nice MsDora, I like to take pictures of everything, but sunsets get me going! Effects of lights and shadows, could that be a Hub in the making?

Almost anything! But the key for me is "what is special or interesting that I am trying to capture in the image?"

That is something every great photographer should do and I am glad you pointed it out. I sometimes get caught up in thinking of what people will like about my pics and don't think of the bigger audience always. thank you for your comment

For sure Diane- it's a constant challenge for me too- to what I'm trying to capture, not what I think other people will like. Good question - and some really insightful answers are coming in. Trust it keeps growing. All the best...

Animals and people - I used to do charcoal portraits - in the 70's - and love to capture a person or animal's personality!

I like to capture beautiful things all around the world. But doing photography of nature and people is my hobby. I like sunset time, the most.

I love to shoot reenactments, especially when there is a challenge of keeping "modern" advancements out of the "historic" photos. It's a great way to learn history, and the photographs that can be produces are amazing.

There is many great photography subjects be these people, trees and flowers. For me personally I would probably say I prefer landscape pictures or glamour models tongue

Newborns. Children under 14 days are a joy to photograph. The emotions the parents go through when they see their newborn in pictures is beyond words.

I would have to say my family, but also other people.  It was raining a few minutes ago so I went outside to experiment and took some wonderful shots of rain on flowers.  I was just playing around with my camera and the results were not half bad.

Nature photography also appeals to me, but I love when people are in the images.

I like to do naturalist photograph, we are all in our birthday suits, and its a right laugh, although you do have to see some old men now and then which really isn't pleasant, but such is life.

I also photograph cows and sheep.

As a commercial photographer I photograph anything, so long as I'm paid but for pure joy I am constantly captivated by naked women and thus my speciality is "Fine Art Nude" (of almost entirely women)
