Have you ever purchased a work of art before? If so, what made you want to buy it?
When I purchase a work of art I am usually attracted to bright colors with rugged texture. I love artistic scenes of colorful people walking in a square and pictures of gardens with benches.
I like to purchase miniature replicas of swans made of crystal and sculptures of mothers and children made of plaster. I get a very warm feeling when I purchase art. It has to be something that I enjoy looking at. I especially cherish my pieces of art when they match with my home furniture.
I have been most fortunate to be surrounded by artists in my life, so have purchased little art. I did purchase one charming watercolor of two little chipmunks by a San Antonio artist named R. Rochas at a Wildlife convention. These little animals are so lovely, the colors are soft. I love the painting and it is in my living room. Also years ago I purchased 2 charming numbered prints of early Jody Bergsma's fanciful kitties, each with a hand-penned caption. They were soon retired and of course, became unavailable. They are in my master bathroom and cheer me.

Just curious, what was the last piece of furniture you bought? Where did you buy it? Were you happy with it? What do you wish was different if anything? How was your sales experience?
