Do any hand knitters have a favourite technique/stitch for making up the face on a knitted doll?
I make a few for charity - rag dolls, clowns and so on. However the faces always give me a headache and takes me hours to get them just right. Any tips/advice would be warmly received.
Many thanks in advance to all helpers.
When I add faces and other details to knit toys, I will typically use a duplicate stitch (http://knitting.about.com/od/knittingsk … stitch.htm)
Or you can get safety eyes that you can sew on?

What is the best perfume you have received compliments for? Some people think because a perfume smells good that it automatically smells good on them...wrong! If you are not getting compliments it is not a perfect match..
