Is it pointless to sew an apron when you don't have a sewing machine?
I just mean would it be so time consuming and costly for the material that I should just buy one for $20-$30? I have some material, but I'd still have to buy half of it.
Not if you are using good-quality fabric. Aprons that are made today are not designed to last for long. If you decide to sew, just make sure to use double seam + cross-stich. Those thing would last forever.
What kind of fabric would you recommend? I have some that's thick...maybe cotton? No it feels more like blue jean type material...
Flannel is quite good, cotton, linen are the best. I also heard that it is possible to sew an apron out of jeans
Cool. Thanks!! It can always be a fun (though time consuming project.
