What type of saw is used to cut out shapes of wood?
I want to cut various shapes from wood, and not sure what type of saw or tools to use. Have an idea to make a wooden rider for kids, like a tricylcle. If you know how to work with wood, can you please provide information needed. Thanks.
A scroll saw is the tool I would use. Most scroll saws can accommodate very small blades for detailed work. I used one to make jigsaw puzzles for my children when they were young.
