Suggestions on how to frame a thin panel in a floater frame?

    Suggestions on how to frame a thin panel in a floater frame?

    Floater frames are perfect for stretched canvases, but I have seen paintings made on thin masonite boards mounted on floater frames.
    I would love to do that, bot I am not sure how to do it, since floater frames are fastened with screws from the back of the frame into the wooden stretchers.
    Any tips on how it can be done?

    Do they make acrylic frames? If so, maybe you could find or order a frame that covers the face of the painting and has protruding blocks on the back edges that can accept a screw. Here are other suggestions, found at:
