Can I post photos that I have submitted to sites like Shutterstock in my Hubpages' articles?
I am thinking of submitting my photos to sites like Shutterstock. Can I post these photos on my Hubs also? Or is there a restriction banning photos submitted to Shutterstock from appearing on Hubs? Thanks in advance for your replies!

Thank you Tim! I couldn't really find the answer there. So you can use images with Attribution Only, Attribution, No Deriv, or Attribution, Share-Alike licenses. And that you can't use "non-commercial." Shutterstock has what sort of license?
I have never explored or used Shutterstock. I use Pixabay, Flickr, Wikimedia, and others. They all show you the Creative Commons attribution for the image. Their images are free to use.
Hubpages wants you to use photos that you own the rights to (or have permission to use). So as long as you retain the rights to them after submitting them to shutterstock then you're totally fine. Just make sure you read the fine print regarding who owns the rights when you submit to shutterstock.
Thanks so much nochance! Your reply makes complete sense. I was reading that contributors retain the copyright of their images on Shutterstock. There's also no exclusive deal. So that means it's ok to use photos that have been submitted to Shutterstock on my hubs. Thanks for your reply!

I have an account at Shutterstock, where I submit photos for use, and which pays (will pay, once I'm established) when someone wants to use my images. They are as strict as HP when it comes to copyright, and also posting personal information.I am having a bit of a battle with them on two...

I see Hubs where beautiful photos are used and are from Pinterest. The photos are usually credited as being from Pins. Are we allowed to use those photos??

Which happens more often: You submit work to HubPage Network sites, or let HubPages submit for you?I've had a few of my hubs get submitted to network affiliated sites by HubPages, but I'm curious if you submit them as well. If so, how often do you submit them? Is this one of the key...
