can i get arrested when i pick up my car from the police if they found weed
I was pulled over and the police did'nt ask for licsence and registration, they said it smelled like weed and took my car since i would'nt let them search the car
And the answer might depend on what city you are in, what police department and who will release it to you and yes if they found the weed.
My bet would be yes. Although the funny thing is that they didn't ask for license and registration.
It depends on your state and your circumstances. If you are in Canada, it will be different.
In some places, possession is a misdemeanor, and in others it is worse.
I would not accept legal advice from anyone who is not a lawyer.
Your only reasonable option at this point is to contact a lawyer who can offer you legal advice and may even be able to get your car back for you.
maybe if you confess that the weed that was found was not yours
