Apparently the police are looking for me. My brother said that my license and registration are out of date. Ive just checked both on the internet and found that they are both paid and license due next november - car registration, 22 Dec 2010.

      1. How would your brother know?

      2. What would make you think the police are looking for you?

I was arrested for a crime I didn't commit before, so don't count on proof of your license and registration to help you.  I'd recommend calling the police department or local courthouse to see what's up.

Not the police, show up to Court early.

The police will arrest you if you have a warrant, you can resolve the issue in court without the bracelets.

If you have a bench warrant the Police will not care what the situation is, the good news is the Police now use some colorful little plastic cuffs.

lol thanks so much, police are only public servants, if arrested wrongly, I would sue.

They're just doing their job. If you have a warrant, they have to arrest you. Would you rather want to live in a city with a police department that doesn't give a s**t?

I was told by my brother that the police said that I did not have a current license and that my car was unregistered.

I do have a current license and my car is registered.

Sounds like you have all of the proper credentials and proof of payment until the Dec date.
Possibly your brother is having fun at your expense?

Are you sure thats the only reason they arrested you? Umm Ive heard such stories from others who "didnt do it" - say "it didnt happen" and all the great lines that those with wonderful charismatic personalities can tell.

No, just Peachy. And Peachy has no gender.
Mega has a whole, very entertaining Hub about Peachy. I read it last night.
