What is the longest timeframe you have ever owned the same vehicle?

The longest time I have ever owned the same vehicle was 14 years. I bought a 1998 Ford Escort SE brand new off the lot and drove it for 14 years before getting another car. I was nice to it and kept up on the maintenance and it turned out to be a really good car but it was time for a newer car based on my needs. What about you?

I am still driving my 2001 Hyundia Santa Fe that I bought right off show floor,so 10ys are more if you are getting very good service and keep it up as long as you
    want too.

10 years is a long time. I agree you have to maintain the car if you want it to last longer.

My wife drove a Toyota Corolla for 17 years. It was a 1996 and the only thing we ever put into it was a new exhaust system and new tires. My wife only drove her car to school where she teaches and back for about 5 miles round trip. The Toyota still didn't have any rust on it. We traded it in last week for a new 2013 Toyota Camry.

I've never heard of a Diahatsu Cuore but 13 years is a good amount of time. Sounds like it may go for many more years.

oh yeah it's in great shape at the moment ... people normally have their engine overhauled after 5-7 years here ... mine is still as it came from the factory. still one of the fastest cars you'll see on our roads tongue
